Following a brief installation of officers, guest speaker, Jennifer Hanselman, shared what life is like as a parent of Ohio’s first set of sextuplets. Ms. Hanselman stayed to autograph her first book, PARTY OF NINE: THE TRIUMPHS AND TRAUMAS OF RAISING SEXTUPLETS + ONE.
Book Sale Committee members, Bruce Parker, Barb McBride, Michele Hudson, and Linda Davis, are planning the 2008 Book Sale. Additional Information: For the best selection, become a Friend of the Mogadore Branch Library and attend the preview sale. Memberships are available at the Library as well as at the door of the sale. Donations of books, audio and video materials for the book sale are always welcome and accepted through Saturday, August 2nd. If you would like to help sort and set up for the sale, please call volunteer coordinator, Michele Hudson, at 330-794-1878 or the library at 330-628-9228. Important dates for volunteers: Thursday, July 24, 6:30 Book Sale volunteer’s meeting to coordinate activities and orient new volunteers. Thursday, August 21, 6:00 Pot luck and wrap-up meeting for volunteers. Bring a small dish to share while we review the book sale and share ideas with others. The Friends of the Library is an organization of citizens formed for each branch library to assist the library staff in meeting its goals.
