North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)

The new code system developed through NAFTA includes cross references to/from SIC codes.
Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)

The U.S. Dept. of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics manages all the government's statistics on employment and labor issues. Their website offers statistical services and publications.

The Ohio Department of Development has great statistics on Ohio's population, industries and economy. Information includes Ohio county profiles and Ohio industry reports available in Adobe Acrobat format.
