If you’ve never been to the Children’s Library, you probably think we’re just for children. Guess again! When you visit the Children’s Library, here’s just a taste of what you’ll find:

  • board books, nursery rhymes, and picture books
  • beginning readers
  • fiction and non-fiction for children through sixth grade
  • resources for students, teachers, and adults who want to know more about what’s available for their children to read
  • craft programs. story hours, Summer Reading Program, booktalks, and classroom or community visits
  • an audio collection with lullabies, classics, and everything in between
  • Kits for Kids- a bag of tricks, organized around a specific theme, with six books, activity sheets, audios, videos, and pieces to play and learn with,
  • Books in Boxes- 35 copies of one book for use in your classroom, reading group, or neighborhood book club.
