Online Learning Resources

Not sure how to help your student with that math problem? No worries! Tutor.com offers free online tutoring for students of all ages. Connect virtually with a real person to get homework help, submit a paper for review and editing help, or access their ACT and SAT study guides and practice tests. Tutors are available daily from 12 pm to 12 am.

Transparent Languages
Looking to help your student succeed in their foreign language classes? Transparent Languages offers courses in over 100 languages. There’s also an ESL component that provides English language learning to speakers of over 25 different languages.

Mometrix
Are you unable to find in-person ACT or SAT practice exams? Try Mometrix and gain access to practice tests and study guides for both exams. Use the Mometrix link found in our Online Learning section.

Homework Help Databases

Databases are digital collections of newspaper and magazine articles, books, and journals that offer reputable information on a variety of topics. These resources can be used for homework assignments, writing papers, and exploring interests. When the teacher asks for online sources, start with our Databases!

Does your student need help with their virtual science fair project? Try our Science Project Index. It is an online index created by the Science and Technology Division of the Akron- Summit County Public Library of science projects, experiments, and demonstrations. This is a great science resource for students in grades K-12.

Digital Media

Does your student need a book to read for a class assignment? We have a variety of eBooks and eAudio, including picture books, easy readers, chapter books, and popular or classic teen literature.

Middle School & High School Students: OverDrive Kids, OverDrive Teen, Hoopla

Does your student need or prefer print materials? Outside Pick-up Service is available at all of our locations.

After all that, students might need a study break!  We offer a variety of virtual programs and events for all ages.
